Classes are typically comprised of 4, approximately hour-long classes and can be done in either group or individual classes, based on your preference. The client sets their individual goals.

Educational topics for these classes include:

  • Complication of diabetes: heart attack, stroke, blindness, kidney disease
  • Monitoring blood glucose: what the numbers mean
  • Exercise
  • Medications

Our nurse educator can discuss all these topics and more with you.
