Vaccines for Children
Lincoln County Public Health is a member of the Wyoming Department of Health’s Vaccines for Children program. Through this program, we are able to provide all children ages 2 months to 18 years with all the school required vaccines for a nominal administration fee. Under certain conditions, we are also able to provide recommended vaccines such as HPV, Meningococcal, and Hepatitis A for children.
Lincoln County Public Health and the Wyoming Department of Health seek to prevent disease, disability, and death from vaccine preventable diseases in all Wyoming children and adults and to assure all children receive all their recommended immunizations by two years of age.
Visit the Immunizations Schedules page for an easy to read, downloadable color copy of the current schedules for both children and adults.
Adults Need Vaccines, too…
Contrary to popular belief, some vaccines you received as a child will not be sufficient to protect you from preventable and common diseases for the rest of your life. Lincoln County Public Health and the Wyoming Department of Health encourage adults to keep current on their immunizations. We offer vaccines for Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis, also known as whooping cough), Td (tetanus and diphtheria), Hepatitis A and B, Pneumonia (for seniors ages 65 and older), Meningitis, HPV, Influenza, and Shingles. If you were not vaccinated as a child or if you are interested in a vaccine that may not have been available when you were a child and think you might need your immunizations updated, contact our office for an appointment.
