Bids Requested - Thayne Landfill #1 Closure Project
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Thayne Landfill #1 Closure Project will be received by Lincoln County at the Lincoln County Courthouse, 925 Sage Avenue, Kemmerer, WY 83101, until Friday, June 7, 2019, 2:00 p.m. local time at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project consists of closure efforts for the Thayne #1 landfill including earthwork, grading, methane vent drilling and installation, LL-HDPE liner installation, geosynthetics, final cover, and seeding. Alternative bid items include alternate geosynthetic cover configurations.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract, on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.
Contract Documents, including proposal Bid Forms, Construction Drawings and Project Manual, have been placed online at Quest CDN under the eBidDoc #6289996.Contract Documents may be obtained on or after May 6, 2019online at www.questcdn.com at the non-refundable cost of $15.00 per set.Neither the Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the source listed above.
A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on May 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm local time, at the Thayne #1 Landfill Site, 945 Strawberry Creek Rd, Thayne, WY 8312.Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
The right is reserved by the Owner and Engineer to reject any and all bids or to waive informalities therein. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 calendar days from and after the date named herein for the opening of bids.
A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the amount of the proposal will be required with each bid. Payment and Performance Bonds will also be required as part of this project in accordance with W.S. 16-6-112.
Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106 “preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the state.”
