The Board of Commissioners of the County of Lincoln is seeking public input and public comments on a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application.  Lincoln County is interested in obtaining funding for a planning only grant to determine a feasible location for a center to serve senior citizens in southern Lincoln County.  The grant request contemplated will not exceed $15,000.

Other possible CDBG applications may be considered provided they support at least one of three National Objectives:

  1. Benefit to low and moderate income persons
  2. Aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight
  3. Activities designed to meet community development needs having a particular urgency.

The Wyoming Business Council administers the CDBG Program and lists the available funding on their web site at .

A Public Hearing to take public testimony and solicit public opinion on this matter will be held on -Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 10:15 a.m. at the Board of County Commissioners meeting in the Star Valley Ranch Town Council Chambers in the town of Star Valley Ranch, WY.  Accommodations will be made for handicapped and non-English speaking minority individuals who wish to attend the Public Hearing.
